I don’t think Elon is really human.I can just tell by his body language the way he needs to really think about a simple question like it’s hard for him to break it down and put into words.

When he says “what are the odds of this being a replayed memory” well it is a replayed memory because it’s being replayed here on FIchannel, a memory of what happened. While we watch they definitely feel like joe rogan and Elon musk but it’s just a recording on a device. The people we see believe they are real and they were at one point. But real time as we watch right now they are just electrical signals in our devices. Imagine if this exact same concept or scenario was applied to ourselves rn in “real life” could it be a recording?? Idk whT I’m talking about tho idek if this makes any sense but...oh yea if anybody can interpret what I’m saying and say it better that’d would be cool.

    Fuck man Musk invented Extremis.
Although I do feel like his ultimate goal with the neural link technology, is already fundamentally achievable by the human system and hardware without assistance of AI symbiosis. In fact the regeneration of brain "circuits", telepathic communication and connecting our consciousness to a sort of connected 'internet' has already been practiced by ancient schools of thought through rituals, entheogens and esoteric practices. I wonder if it is misguided to pursue a Transcendence of Humanity through technological altercations if it has the possibility of being abused or even just faulty.

Why even try doubt a monkey or apes conciousness. You can more or less hold conversations with them. They're probably atleast as 'smart' as some of our more distant direct ancestors. Some apes arent too shabby with very primitive handtools and you can teach various species or some groups learn fairly advaned artisan craft. Not to mention that ape that could do full converastions in sign language etc.

My Sister has Cervical Dystonia and it has changed her life. She cannot lift her head from her chest. They are looking into DBS to hopefully help though with Parkison's it helps just about right away, Cervical Dystonia they said will take months after DBS operation to see improvement. I hope it helps her. She has a 12 and 9 yr old daughters and for 5 yrs now she has been this way. She can no longer drive or work. Basic tasks are hard for her. Walking is hard. She tried botox, physical therapy, drugs, ect and nothing is helping. It's been hard watching her go through this to say the least and I'm not even the one going through it. I hope this will be the key to her recovery and getting her life back.

What I'm not fully understanding is how this neuralink actually repairs brain function at the level of the cortex. It seems like neuralink is more of a relay machine for the neural impulses that are actively occurring in your brain but there is some sort of transmission problem to the lower motor neuron. But if the neuron at the level of the cortex is damaged, there's either no message to transmit or an impaired message. So within the realm of speech and language (my realm of study), I can understand how motorically speech can be repaired similarly to the deep brain stim device for Parkinson’s. But how the hell do you go about fixing language or cognitive issues due to stroke or dementia. These aren't execution issues. They're initiation or coding issues. Essentially, I understand how you can repair the message along the final common pathway but how do you interpret a message that never existed? This would be the case with Alzhemier's where sometimes the thought never even begins because of damage at the frontal lobe in the earliest stages of cognition. He explains a lot of this in layman's terms and I've seen a lot about the technology in other presentations, but I'd be curious if there's more of an in depth explanation of how neuralink interacts with the brain.
